► Competition and Tournament – Wrong philosophy – We focus on competitions and tournaments. This may not be helpful for some kids who may get demoralized the emphasis on competition and be winning. Life is not about winning and losing. This philosophy of competition is not a healthy way of raising the future generation. Having a slogan ‘ We want your kid to be smarter than your neighbor’s kid” sounds like it is being run by people who love to win and make others lose.
► Experimentation – The idea and curriculum are evolving and not completely figured out. This causes confusion and makes parents more concerned as this doesn’t look like – “we have figured it out” and yes we have not figured it out. Some courses get dropped and some courses are added without a lot of thought process.
► Physical location – Parinama Academy has a location in Austin – real physical one. We don’t have real location in Cedar Park and in Plano but we do offer classes in Cedar Park and Plano. How?. Hiring places at low cost with Business centers, library, recreation center and being dependent on the availability of these places causes confusion and most people cannot answer the question “Where is Parinama Academy located in Cedar Park and Plano?”
► Inexperienced or Trainers with no experience : We work with people with passion and skill and not experience. Having High school kids and people with not great credentials or degrees is not the right approach to run a training center and that is what we do for the last 2.5 years.
► Expensive – It feels the fees at Parinama Academy is expensive. We want to continue to raise our fee to become more premium to luxury brand as opposed to being cheap. Sometimes it is better to hire a private tutor for your kid than coming to our center
► Not an established brand – Parinama Academy looks like a new Fad/Concept and doesn’t look like it being run by professionals. It looks more like a hobby than a business – which is true.
►I can teach it at home – Most concept and techniques used by Parinama Academy can be taught at home by parents and the materials are available on the internet.
